MEET OUR COACHES

HEAD COACH - LIZ PHILLIPS

Liz, is a multifaceted individual excelling in athletics and academics. With over 15 years in lacrosse as a player, coach, and official, Liz is a dedicated athlete and mentor. She played at the University of Colorado-Boulder, a Division 1 program, and was a team captain for three years, playing various positions before settling as a midfielder. Her performance included 44 goals, 29 assists, 73 points, and a .376 shooting accuracy.

Liz’s coaching career includes working with Team 180 in Denver and contributing to the University of Colorado-Boulder and Air Force lacrosse camps, enriching players’ skills at various levels. She also spent four years officiating youth lacrosse in Colorado Springs and Denver.

From Monument, Colorado, Liz is a Palmer Ridge High School alumna, earning accolades in lacrosse, basketball, and field hockey, including All-America and Academic All-America honors in lacrosse. She led her field hockey team to a state title.

Liz enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, and snowboarding, balancing a vigorous sporting career with a love for outdoor adventures. Her journey demonstrates dedication, leadership, and continuous learning, inspiring many in sports and beyond.

KELLI COLE

Kelli Cole, an alumna of Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota, began her lacrosse journey in 5th grade, initially playing as a defender before exploring all positions, including goalie. Her passion for lacrosse continued at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where she initially joined the club team, as the university had not yet established a Division III team. As a midfielder and captain of the club team, Kelli demonstrated exceptional leadership and skill.

With the formation of Eau Claire’s Division III lacrosse team in her junior year, Kelli continued her roles as a midfielder and captain. Her dedication and versatility in lacrosse have been key to her team’s growth and success.

Outside of lacrosse, Kelli is an avid enthusiast of outdoor activities. She enjoys running, hiking, skiing, boating, and generally embracing the outdoors. Her love for nature and physical activities complements her athletic pursuits, showcasing her well-rounded personality and commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle.

MORIAH GREENSTEIN

Moriah, a native of Glenmont, New York, has made a significant mark in the world of college lacrosse, both as a player and a coach. A 2016 graduate of Bates College, Moriah’s college career was marked by exceptional achievements and record-breaking performances.

At Bates College, Moriah, a four-year attacker, shined as team captain in 2016, earning Second Team IWLCA All-American, First Team All-Pilgrim Region, and All-NESCAC honors. She led the NESCAC in points and goals, setting Bates’ season records in assists and points, nearly breaking the career points record. Highlighting her 2016 achievements were standout performances against teams like Wellesley, Wesleyan, and in the NESCAC and NCAA Tournaments. Previously, she was a Third Team All-American in 2015, led in points and assists in 2014 despite an injury, and was part of the Jewish Sports Review’s All-America Team in 2013.

Post-college, Moriah transitioned into coaching, first as an Assistant Coach at Bates College in 2018. She then took on the role of Head Coach at Alta High School in Salt Lake City from 2019 to 2021, where she continued to impart her knowledge and passion for the sport. Her journey in lacrosse, marked by remarkable achievements as both a player and a coach, reflects her dedication to the sport and her exceptional ability to lead and inspire those around her.

CHAYSELYN PAULSON

Chaselyn Paulson hails from Missoula and is currently enrolled at the University of Montana. She has been passionate about lacrosse since the 7th grade and has thoroughly enjoyed playing the sport. Although she has never had the chance to coach before, she is looking forward to embracing the role with enthusiasm.

Throughout her high school years, she was a key player for the Spartans and also participated in Treasure State Lacrosse during the offseason. Her skills and dedication to the sport were recognized when she was selected through tryouts to represent the MT/ID/WY National team in Maryland, an honor that she cherishes deeply. She played lacrosse at MSU last year. Chaselyn is eager to reengage with lacrosse, this time in the capacity of a coach.
